WALT: skim read to locate specific information and retell.

Hi bloggers! Today I will be showing you my  create task one,

for create a task one we had to pick our fave character from our journal we are reading and then wrirte two full sentences about why you like her/him and add atleast five adjectives in your 2 sentences in your reading book.

Here is what I wrote:

My Person: YEN

sentence one: I like this character because she is a good and happy character.

sentence two: I also like this character because of her beautiful black silky hair.

I liked this create task because I enjoy adding adjectives to my sentences.

Create task two:

so for create task two we  had to watch/read the suport texts.

and then we made a copy of a brainstorm,

and then write down two facts from each text and highlight your fave one.

I really like how you can brainstorm and write down it but its not my fave thing to do.

Create Task thrree:

for create task three we had to make a canva video,  in the canva video we had to write a summary of the journal story we picked this week.

after that we had to read out our create task one on the same  canva video.

I really like doing canva videos sometimes because we get to talk out loud on our chromebooks.

today I will be showing you what I did for my create task one.

My journal I picked this week was this one about jji jitsu.

for create a task one we had to write ten  facts down in our reading books and then make a flip video and say them.

cause there is a time limit on my flip My teachers said we could also do it on Canva.

So that is what I decided to do.

for create task one we had to do 10 facts about your book

Hello bloggers today I will be showing you my create task 1 !

so for create task  1  we had to  write down  10 facts on a google doc and then we had to use those facts to create a Canva posters or video.

Create task two:

For create task two we had to make a google drawing and then create an art that is related to your book.

Then we had to make a paragraph about the art.

for create task three we had to pick a type of art on the Christchurch Art gallery site and then make a copy of a doc, on that doc is some things to do on a Canva video or poster.

there was SO many things to write and there was not much info so I just wrote as much as possible,

I tried Really hard on this video have a look!!

WALT IDENTIFY THE MAIN IDEAS IN A TEXT 

Hey bloggers!

today I will be showing you my create task one two three and four!
first I picked my book for famous New Zealanders!
I picked Valerie Adams!

( Valerie Adams is a famous shotputter in the Olympics.)

first for create task one I had to make a Canva poster with 4 facts on it.

I also had to add at least two photos.

After that you had to make a google doc with a diary entry of the person you picked( Valerie Adams)

you had to add Her/his feelings.

after that for create task three I had to create a pixton but on the pixton I had to make it about my character

Also it has to be a REAL LIFE THING that has happened to you character.

for create task four we had to write a book report about the book were reading the thing is,

that all the books are biographys so I picked a book I finished today!!!

create 1: making posters are fun but I want to make other things on Canva

create 2: I LOVE writing peoples feelings.

create three: I am not a big fan of pixton I would like to do something else.

create four: I like making book reviews!!

for all: these create tasks are so fun I want more create tasks like these.

WALT: Identify the main ideas in your text

Hello bloggers!

Today I will be showing you my create task one two, three and four!
First we had to pick a book , all the books were about famous New Zealanders

I picked Sophie pascoe!

( Sophie Pascoe is a paralympics Swimmer, her leg got amputated because when she was two years old her Dad ran her leg over with a lawn mower.

so for create task 1 we had to make a Canva poster about our person we picked,

we have to add some facts and add some pictures to it too

Then for create task two we had to think about something that happened in their life and wrote a diary entry about it and think about how they are feeling and what is happening, and we have to do it on a google doc.

Then after that we had to do create task three,

for create task three we had to make a pixton comic about a thing that happened to them in their life.

and we have to use speech bubbles and all that stuff.

( Pixton is a app of where you can make your own comic.)

I hope you liked this one I tried hard on it.

Then for create task four you had to do a book review about your book choice,

but the problem is that it asking me for the setting,

A BIOGRAPHY DOES NOT HAVE A SETTING!!!!!!

 I was at home when I did it so I decided because I don’t want to disturb and email a teacher. I just did a book I read in the holidays.

Now this is some feedback for the create tasks 

FEEDBACK:

• create task one: I love to create Canva posters and videos it is awesome to do that!
• create task two: Diary entrys are so fun to make and write their emotions and stuff.
• create task three: it has been a little while since I have done a lot of pixton, easy but fun!
• create task four: It makes me feel confused when it says some stuff and there not true but fun If you know what to do.

A Canva ifographic about your person you picked as most of you know I picked Walt Disney the creator of Mickey mouse!

( if you don’t know what Canva Is, Canva is a app were you create lots of stuff and have varieties of things you add on your Canva project! you can use Canva doc, infographic, slideshow,video, and much more!

so first, for create task one we got the same sheet  we got last time,

and then we had to make a copy of a google drawing and on that Google drawing we have to write different and the same things about our choice from last week,( Amelia  Earhart) and from this week,(Walt Disney)

Trisha here, and today I am going to show you what I am doing for create task 1, 2, and 3!

so first, in writing we are learning about biographys

so the teachers  decided to pick biographys for our book choices.

thease were the choices:

I picked Amelia Earhart!

thhen we read the book!

after that we did create task one! for create task one I have to get a sheet that looks like this  ( click on the link):Let Me Tell You About Sheet

i filled it out after.

then I had to do create task two! for create task two we had to make a plan and write down all the good facts you have!

after that I did create task three!!

for create task three you have to make a Canva thing of your choice and write all you facts on it I had to also add pictures! have a look at my Canva video!

I really enjoyed this weeks books and create task.

it was pretty easy and really fun nothing was that hard at all!
